i had it in a community tank with like tetras, gouramis, and other things(the tank was a long time ago so i dont remember perfectly) but yes mine did fine

I have a lone ghost cat. The other 2 I had died early on. But he is still going strong after 18 months. He will eat flakes and blood worms w/o any problem.... :thm:

Do you have enough space in your tank to add some more? You'd probably see a big change in behavior and "happiness" if your lone guy had some buddies. IMO a school of at least 5 is good, 6 is better

I have one for about 5 months now in my 55g community tank. We only feed them flake foods and he happily eats it up. He has a strange habit of moving around the tank; whereas for one week he will stay to the bottom hidden by plants, he would spend the next swimming in the mid-levels with the other fish. He tends to enjoy the company of my Penguin Tetras in the stead of his own kind.
