Ghost knife

I have a slightly goofy knife, I moved him to a 10 gal tank (i know too small in the long run) as he is under 3 inches about 2.3 inches, anyways I moved him as some of the fish were dieing for unknown reason, my little ghost is swimming circles under the outflow of the filter on there, has anyone else seen this before? I will post a move of it soon, just curious,

Make sure you have lots of hiding spots. If there aren't any, ghost knives, who love to hide, will attempt to take refuge behind the filter intake.

He has a cave to hide in but I never seen any knife do that before,
