I went to the lake yesterday to collected some pond and ramshorn snails and this floating weed that my guppies are in love with. I came home with a bit more than that though. I've spent 35 years splashing around lakes and rivers here in Nebr, and never once did I find Ghost Shrimp. I did last night, 5 of them, and one is with eggs! My Mom also never knew they were around here, even argued with me about what they were. lol I plan of going back to get some more to start a breeding colony of them in my 5 gallon. I've heard they do the best when they are in a tank all by themselves. (For breeding pruposes)
Anyway I also got 3 crawfish, one of them is a beautiful blue and they are at the moment pretty small. I'll probably let them go later, I just wanted to observe them for a bit and I had the room...
