Ghost Shrimp With Bettas

They may get eaten, but maybe not. They wont do much of a job keeping his bowl clean, that should be your job. Also, Im sure you know and maybe it was a typo, but bettas really dont do as well in a bowl as they would in a tank with a filter and heater.

ah. well, ghosties are generally cheap, give em a shot.

Ghosts can be pretty fast when they want to be, and bettas tend to be a little slower. Have plenty of plants (real or fake) in there to provide cover and you should be fine. I once had at oto in with a betta, and the betta never got within striking distance because of the difference in swimming speed.. Once the betta figures out he can't catch something, he will generally ignore it.

ive got ghost shrimp in my 5 gallon with my midget betta,he gets along fine with them and they clean all day.i think you will be fine putting shrimp in with him ;).................BETTAGURL

AKA CAFFIENE JUNKY :coffee2: :coffee:

my ghost shrimp get along fine with my betta, but mines a super peaceful one. try one for starters to see if he tolerates them, and then add from there if it survives.
