Ghost shrimp I've had in the past have had little red dots their whole life. Probably just the coloration of that particular species.

Ghost shrimp end up turning clear with light green spots with a yellow undertone in my planted tank. It's just the natural variation of color, nothing to worry about.

Does the spot look like a lesion, something inside the shrimp, or like a natural marking on the exoskeletal surface? The very commonly sold ghost shrimp Palaemonetes paludosus has an orange spot on each side of the telson ("tail fin") and orange bands on the legs and antennae, which will be more or less prominent on different individuals at different times.
