I have a friend with a 55g w/ a 7in. water turtle(unknown species) and four 4in. feeder fish. I want to get rid of three and keep one but I don't know if they are schooling fish. I don't want to stress the one out or make it lonely. I need some help with this cause they all(including the turtle)make the tank really dirty. :help: :thud: :help: :thud:

is the feeder your typical comet goldfish? That being the case, you're going to need a very large tank as they get in around and excess of 2 feet.
excess of two feet? biggest I ever saw was 16" long.

yeah.. don't worry, I do that, too. I think with the turtle you have enough bio load in there for a lifetime, and getting rid of all the feeders would be best. can you post a pic of the turtle? I might be able to identifly it for you.

no they are not skool fish
