I was fishing a 10 acre lake the other day when I see 3 huge orange longfinned fish in the lake.

It turns out they were goldfish, all at least 16".

I guess somebody had some goldfish that got too big and just dumped them loose.

At least the lake is full of black crappie, bluegill and largemouth bass to inhibit their spawning.

Catch em if Koi!

If they are Koi from someone's pond, try to catch them. Some are sold for as much as $3,000 each! If they are just regular goldfish, let them be free and happy.

I've tried to catch them but they are very spooky.

Normally corn and bread can entice a goldfish.
