Glacier Water Dispensers

Ok, this may seem like a simple question but has anyone ever used water from one of these dispensers at like a grocery store? It says the first stage is RO filtration then like 4 other stages including UV sterilization. Could this be used as topoff water?

Yep. I don't, but there are several people on ReefCentral that use it without any problems.

The water should be fine if (and it is a big if) the filter cartridges are changed out as often as they are supposed to be.
So it depends on the maintenance of the machine- and the integrity of whomever is in charge of that maintenance.

I would assume the filter is in better condition and any LFS as this is being sold for human consumption there is monitoring of the water quality.

I just wanted to make sure they didnt add anything back like trace minerals.
