Hey there.
One of my four glass cats is acting funny. He's been swimming in circles for about two days now. I did a water change/gravel vac yesterday, and he picked it back up after I got the decor back in and everything.
Anyone have any clue?

Here's a video clip of his behavior as evidence (ignore the music):

hmmm.. can you tell us your water parameters? also, what kind of decorations? if it is rocks, then it might be leaching sum type of irritant into the water. If your water params looks fine, then try scrubbing your decorations.

lol thats hilarius does he stop spining to eat? try adding more glass cats maybe a larger group will get him to stop. or he could have hit his head and sufferd brain damage making him act retarded.

i donno why he s runin in circles , but i read somewhere when galss catfishes isolate them selves from their group they will not eat till they die , that s wat happend to my cousin s glass catfishes , :nilly:
btw , like the music :cool-1:

Do you have the tv on the Olympics? Maybe he's training for the 2012 Games. He may be thinking "Micheal Phelps ain't got nothing on me" :grinyes:

Well, I posted this just as I was going to bed. Now I have work, but once I get back I'll do a water parameter test and see if anything is... fishy.

And all of the rocks in my tank were first boiled for two hours on the stove. I'm pretty sure I've taken care of anything from that perspective. But I'll pull everything out and scrub it either way.
Thanks for the serious response, everyone else is a comedian.

I doubt anything needs scrubing. If there was something harmful leeching in the tank, It would effect all the fish not just one. Anytime you suspect any type of problem with your fish, then the first thing to do is test your water parameters. How long have you had the Glass catfish? Sometimes you just get bad stock. Serious enough?
