What can you guys tell me about these little cuties? I know they have to be in a school but how big does the tank have to be, do they do well with tank mates etc?

Glass Catfish (Kryptopterus minor) Synonyms: Ghost Catfish




Stats:
Adult Size: 2 3/4 " (7 cm)
Temp: 76-80 F (24-26 C)
Tank: 32" (90 cm) minimum
Requirements: Likes a mild current, and plenty of floating plants. Very clean water needed. pH 6-7.5, H soft to hard.

Diet: Small live food , not often adjusted to dry food.

Breeding: Open Water spawner among plants. Simulate rainy season for the eggs to mature. Not an often occurance.

Sociability: Keep in shoals, the more the better. If kept in low numbers it has a tendency to sicken and die.

Special Info: Though this fish is transparent, when it dies it becomes white.
