Glass Knife Fish + Amano Shrimp = ???

So I found a vendor who sells glass knife fish.
I really want a ghost knifefish but i found out that they readily eat other tankmates that are not large enough.

I've read that these are the smallest mouth knife fish and are non-aggressive.

Anyone have experience with this particular fish and if they can be raised in a tank with amano shrimp and possible other small fish such as cardinal tetras.

Well, given their feeding habits, I'd say no:

Any knife fish+ amano shrimp= lunch. As far as the cardinals go,it will be hit or miss. When the knife is small, they should be fine, but as it gets larger, it may find them tasty. You could try it out, and if the cardinals start 'disappearing', move them to another tank.
