Is there anyway to repair scratches to glass?

I've got this thought of those CD repair kits that supposedly fill in the scratches and wondered if there is anything like that for glass.

Thanks

No, that would be too hard for glass.. Acryllic theres somthin you can do..

You can repair the scratches if they are not too deep. If you can feel them with your finger then chances are they will not be completely removable but you can make a noticible difference.

I have used a product called jeweller's rouge(spelling?). As your local glass shop. It may be too expensive for the what you have in mind. I picked up a buffing wheel and 1 lb of rouge for about $90. I use it in my window cleaning business. You only need a small amount (1 tablespoon) but you also need a buffer that attached to a high speed drill, and a spray bottle for water.

The jeweller's rouge comes as a fine powder. I usually guve the buffer a light spray of water - just enough so that you can dip it in the powder and have it stick. Take the buffer and push hard against the glass. The key is to keep the glass wet with the spray bottle and to keep applying small amounts of powder to the buffing wheel. It is a messy job but you will have guaranteed success.
