Glass Shrimp

We have some glass shrimp, we were wondering if they will eat guppy fry if we put one in the fry tank to clean up excess food.

We take out excess food but it would be easier if a shrimp could clean/eat it instead.
 
they shouldnt eat the fry, but id watch out for the fry eating them!


depending on the tank size i would put atleast 2 in there to help with clean up!!

its a 2.5 gallon, there are 4 fry.. should I put one in?
the shrimp are like half an inch and we have one thats an inch
 
You should be fine with them.
 
Yea one would be enough, but you can go with 2 if you want. Sometimes they just like grabbing at stuff or attacking my finger when I put my hand in my tank. But just watch out since they can kill fry.
 
Unless the fry is very sickly or dead....the ghosties won't pay them any attention.
 
Okay cool. My fry are 16 days old, so I'd say they are very lively and look pretty healthy. Thanks guys :)
