I'd suggest measuring the top of your tank and going to the nearest Lowes or Home Depot. Glass is dirt cheap, and they'll cut it for you there. Pick up some aquarium safe sealant, and use it to attach a cheap knob.. Wa lah, you have your top.

Don't forget to sand the edges of your glass or you will wind up with a bunch of tiny painful cuts. I recommend emery cloth, or a rubber detuning stone.
