I have a heavily planted 29 gallon with a mini penguin filter and acquaclear 50. Right now I have 5 hatchet fish, 5 neons, and 5 flame tetras along with a curviceps cichlid and candy pleco. Would it be alright to add either 4-5 glo-lites, 4 corys, or 4-5 green fire tetras? Im thinking of taking out the curviceps if that makes a difference. Thanks.

Hey there,

My first response is to agree with your inclination to shift that cichlid out.

Otherwise, though, at 29G with what you have, I would recommend that you go forward with 3 or 4 cories. I have 3 albino cories, and it's nice to have some fish consistently at the bottom to clean up the others' mess. It might be more appealing visually, too, rather than adding another school of top/middle of the tank swimmers.
