Can anyone tell me where I can get some disposable gloves that are saltwater safe? I'm good about keeping my hands free of anything which may affect the tank, but I would like to be sure. Thanks!

drfostersmith.com marinedepot.com among other places. Just 2 that I know of offhand. I don't use them, but I have seen them.

Those are the main places I've seen them. Everyone should wear them, but I admittedly don't. I've been cutting my hands to pieces from handling countless corals and diseased fish at the same time for years. It is a risk I don't recommend anybody takes--especially if you don't know if you are allergic to any of it or have weaker immune systems. I am just stubborn that way, I suppose.

for what it's worth i don't use gloves either. sometimes i wish i did because where i work i have to wash my hands constantly, and i have very dry and cracked hands, so you can imagine what that saltwater does to all the little cuts...and it's the worse once it dries. but back to the question at hand...i've never noticed any ill-effects from me having my hands in the tank, and i have my hands in there quite often. and my tank is pretty deep, and if i'm messing with the bottom i've got my entire arm in the tank, so then gloves would be pretty pointless. haha.

I spend alot of time keeping my tank clean at all times and feel I'm pressing my luck with just hand washing. Also,at the moment,my mushrooms are a bit small and my water params could'nt be better. I figure why not rule out the chance I did'nt rinse well enough.
While I'm at it, thanks to you, Mandy, Grins, Subliminal, Amphiprion, and many others on this site in being so generous with your time and knowledge. By reading all your posts and asking questions I've been able to turn my longtime fowlr into a pretty respectable little reef tank.

I once thought that way too rxdoc, but I can't stand mystery fish death. I'm at the point where I have to rule out all possibilities! With two small water changes a week, daily checks of my fish behavior, and constant param checks with a good log, I still lose fish from time to time which really upsets me. Not to mention all the time and money invested.
