GlowFish Breeding?

I can make anything and give it away to a point. Patant laws will not stop a person from making an item that falls within the patant and giving it away. This can be done where you would be in violation even though you were giving them away but that would mostly be linked to something else such as a buisness offering them as a free gift. This is becouse the free gift has a secoundary intent. I could offer these on the boards and be BORDERING THE LINE. It would come down to who had the better lawer. They are a multimillion dollar companie and I am only 1/20th of a million dollar person THEY WOULD WIN however they would not win that much in this case becouse there was no personal gain involved on my behalf. The judge would more then likely order me to not give any away at all anymore. Patants can be faught and won. All we would hav to do is breed a little difference in them such as make one that has a longer tail through selective breeding now the fish has changed and they don't hold the pattent to this new fish. I may talk with my attornie tomorrow and see what he says. Very interesting idea though.

it's all a moot point. they 'may' spawn, but the "glow" factor will not be transferred to the fish if i'm not mistaken.

From what I have read it is transfered if not I would not be willing to purchase or even support these fish. I have read that it is transfered though. Anyone got info on this?

The glow will still be there it's been genetically inprinted into the fish. So they will always breed true.

They don't hold the patent on the fish be it long finned short finned or whatever you want to try and breed. They hold the patent on the genetics involved in making them glow. So if you do try and breed a long/short finned variety unless you change the genetics of the fish it's still not allowed. You have been told and shown that this is a patented fish and breeding of them is not allowed, Yet you keep trying to find a loophole. If you want to go and do this on your own what ever, but this is something that AC will not be involved in.
