Glueing anubias to wood/rock

The brand name doesn't matter if you make sure there are no added ingredients and buy it in "gel" form instead of liquid. It's also not actually permanent. The glue breaks down very slowly over time. You can also apply it to wet surfaces and even underwater.

**!!!!!**
What if I used the liquid form? I have the brush on type and it says its ok for use with wood. Thankfully I haven't put it on yet... I got lazy ;) turned out good for me.

You sure that's superglue? Or krazyglue? I've never heard of a "brush on" kind so I'd make sure you're using the same stuff.

The gel form works because you can run a little bead of it on one thing and smush the other thing right onto it. In a liquid form, it's much harder to ensure you get good contact gluing two irregular surfaces together.

Why not tie with thread or fishing line like everyone else. Once it is estabished the thread or line can be cut off.

Funny, I could have sworn I was a part of "everyone else", but I've used Loctite Super Glue Gel several times for attaching plants with great success, so I must be mistaken...

I find super glue to be much easier. I tried the fishing line and not only does it look completely unnatural, it's a royal PITA to get a tight wrap and get plants to stay in the position you want. Only thing to remember with the glue is like ManEatingShrimp said. A little dab'll do ya. Very little. As in test it on something else before using your plants, because it's nearly inevitable that you'll use too much for the first squirt.

Also, I don't know if all super glues are safe, but I think it's reasonable to assume that not all of them are, considering the variety of chemicals involved. The stuff I mentioned above is safe.

Yeah its krazyglue. I'm surprised u haven't heard of it. The brand is up their with Elmer's and Crayola. Been around for decades.
Here's a pic of this 'brush on' formula. Btw, I just put it on today and all the fishes are doing great. A very experienced senior hobbyist recommended this brand to me. I even bought his merchandise months ago that he used the glue on and I love it.

This stuff works in a blink of an eye. I didn't push it down or hold it, you have to prepare and get ready to move it on the wood or else it hardens before you can even put it on. ZERO waiting.
