I was wondering if i could use silicone to attatch my coral frags to my rock? The company name is GE.

does that mean it is a bad idea or it could be ok? I guess since the tank has silicone sealing it, it may be ok....?What works the best from experience? I was looking into getting a holdfast epoxy stick made by marineland but that is more expensive.

silicone can not dry under water needs to stay dry for at least 24hours to cure & when silicone is not cured its kinda toxic to all living things

silicone cant cure underwater, so by the time the silicone drys the coral will too :/... IME the best glue is Zap gel. i dont know if its readily availible elsewhere but it is by far the easiest to use. epoxy will work but it ends up sticking like clay.. and if the frag is wet it wont stick on the way it should to prevent resession. try to get your hands on Zap gel, its convienient and actually cures faster underwater

hate to jack a thread, but didn't want to create another to ask a question regarding super glue. Is this everyday super glue that you fine in HD or Lowes hardware store?
