Political threads, as stated above by fishfreak , are as a general rule not allowed. From this point forward, NO political threads or threads referencing politics will be allowed. If a thread is created regarding or referencing politcs, it will immediately be closed. In the future this may change, however for now this is the way it will be.
About this particular thread. It was not closed because of any post by any single member. It was closed because it took a turn to be potentially inflammatory in nature overall. Political threads are (were) watched with a very keen eye because there are very strong feelings , opinions, and views reagarding politically natured topics.
