Gobie Choices

i had some eretmodus cyanostictus a long time ago.

if you search for austinpetemo on youtube i have some footage of them. as well as pictures of them in my albums here on AC. they are an amazing fish, im deffinatly going to get more some day.

I changed completely over to different Biotopes I still have a couple Tangs left but they are in the Malawi setup and i fear i will get rid of the Malawi's and switch over to Oscars and Geophagus..

There he goes again!...Some huge trade is on its way coming soon. Aye, you did have Geophagus and a breeding pair lasted about 72 hrs with you; right? Now you want them again?...Loco mucker!!!
Rich, I love the Tropheus a lot; but I have never had them because I feel pretty scared about how easily they can get bloat.

...well if you like gobies...what about Sculpin....they are small little monsters ^_^ i have 1 adult prickly sculpin 2 babies under 1 1/2 inch
and 2 mottled sculpin around the same size.
cold water..only get to about 6-8 inches...and will eat anything just over half there own size...easy to train on pellets/frozen food..here are mine ^_^
few of the adult (female)...and one of the mottled...they are close to the gobies^_^
and have tons of personality! .....just an idea

Nice Gobies Kaosu.. Efors i have Geophagus already i was wanting some Balzanii though you can check em out in my threads in the SA and CA section..

The only Tangs i have left are a WC pair of Daffodil's, 1 Juvie Lemari from my old pair that passed away, The Tang Hybrid, and my totally Blind Nkambe they are in my 120gal Malawi Hap setup..

I fed my trophs and gobies NLS. Yes they are an interest group to have in a tank

Me too on the NLS, though I don't have tropheus. My gobies seem to do well on it (Thera A formula 1mm), although I did lose one to bloat... Restricting how much they eat is important - they love to eat way too much. I also give them a little of Ad Konings "shrimp mix" recipe occasionally. Crush any flakes up very small.

I have 3 spathodus erythrodon, two appear to be a pair since always together. I'm really hoping to captive spawn these guys. I;ve never found any that weren't wild caught. In general they have no tolerance for other gobies, so they have to be in a big tank with heavy rockwork - still be prepared to separate them if need be. Over the weekend at a swap I picked up 3 Tanganicodus irsacae for my 90gal. Couldn't resist! Gobies rock!:headbang2:

Here's a pic of two of my erythrodon (below the Boop's head) and another pic of one of them staring into the camera-they're very curious:
