I have both a diamond watchman goby and an algae blenny on my fish wish list. I have heard though, that they wont like one another too much. How true is this?

The Goby will stay in a particular area and not look for a 'fight" with the blenny but blennies hate other blennies and gobies since they resemble blennies.

Ofcourse not all but most . I dont know what type algae blenny you want but if your tank is 30 gallons or longer I myself would do it as the watchman goby is bigger than the algae blenny (if its a small type of blenny) and as a whole they wont nip and just avoid each other.

bi color blenny could be a pain but the true algae eating types will be ok - the bigger lawn mower blenny which I have would bother the goby as they to get large.
