the weird thing is, is that i really dont get a lot of evaporation. i only have to replace a little bit of water every week and a half or so. so i should be good there. i think that i am going to just feed them a lot every day before i go and just let them be unfed for a couple of days.

That's good you don't get a lot of evap. I am sure your clowns will be fine.

You are the second person leaving for vacation who has said that they don't get much evaporation. This time of year my 46 gallon, I run a surface skimmer, goes through almost 3 gallons a week! If I didn't have much evaporation I would leave my tank for days with no worries.
