Going to Buy a 75g: Is everything pretty much Aqueon?

I've always owned "all Glass Aquariums", I understand they are now Aqueon. I'm replacing a 55g with a broken crossbrace (it is bowing out now). Should I just stick with whatever is at a brick and mortar store, i.e. Aqueon? Or are there different brands these days.

I quality pretty similar across the board?

I agree with the above poster. Why not just try to fix it instead of buying a whole new tank?

Just my 2c here.

I agree but if you are getting a 75 cool and keep the 55 and fix it also have um both!

I agree, top braces are pretty easy and inexpensive to replace. If you want a new tank instead I have found Oceanics to be one of the best glass aquariums.

Thanks for the replies everyone...the above quote sums up my plan. I will repair the 55g, but have been planning ot upgrade the 55g for some time now. I'm limited to 48-inches for space considerations and a 75g seems the best option as far as price/area goes.

I will see if I can locate an Ocean brand tank.

There are really only two levels of tanks as far as quality.

ADA or Glasscages

or

everybody else.

ADA and Glasscages build show quality tanks for a price.

Everybody else uses too much silicone and unskilled labor for a quarter of the price.

I use Aqueon/All-Glass now, but my next brand-new tank will be glasscages.
