Going to Buy a 75g: Is everything pretty much Aqueon?

I don't know much about Acrylic tanks, but there is a used one on Cragislist that is fairly local to me.

I would find out what the dimensions of that tank are and check to be sure it's 90 gallons first. Then I would only consider buying it if the seller will give a refund if the tank leaks. Then I would go and check out the tank and see just how badly scratched it is before deciding to buy. It still seems a bit pricey but I don't know what 90 gallon acrylics go for used.
i like the long style of the tank.

In my experience acrylic tanks on craigslist are almost always very scratched up. Most of the scratches aren't visable once filled up, but a lot still are.
As a general rule, I don't buy used acrylic, but, if you go look at it and it looks fine, no problem.

How about used glass? Does $65 sound like a good deal on a 3-year old 75g AGA/Aqueon provided it isn't all scratched to hell?

Ok. It has a "nick in it". Seller has it filled with water right now and sent me pics. Said it has never leaked. What's the general consensus about this "nick"?:

Did you end up getting the tank?? What have you done Commodore 64?? I just gotta know--I don't like the looks of the knick......
