going to get some cories tomorrow

I've got 10 pygmaeus and can't in all honesty recommend them for your tank- mine are super shy and do a lot of nothing except when they think I'm not watching. If you're still keeping the angelfish in your signature in the tank, I'd not recommend any of the true dwarf species- instead I'd go for one of the common "standard-sized" corys- paleatus, aeneus, sterbai, trilineatus or similar, so they don't end up as food or just get bullied.

Sterbai cories, while most expensive in the hobby, are by far the most striking for my personal tastes. I like sterbai, and have 6 little guys of my own in my tank. :)

I also love my sterbais as they are very very pretty. This being said, I have found my brochis splendens to be much much more outgoing and visible at all times.

I have not seen any Sterbais yet... but I know that the most expensive ones around here would be Juliis, if anyone could get real ones.

What I do see is C. trilineatus or "false Julii" - and I recommend them as well as peppered Cories. Neither gets as large as the ubiquitous C. aeneus but both are fairly sociable afaik. I have a trilineatus w/ my aeneus and like it a lot.

A truly small cory is the cochui but I have no idea where to get them or where I got mine. They look a lot like paleatus but are much smaller. When I first got them, I mistook them for juvenile paleatus, peppered, cories. I often end up buying "assorted cories" so no telling where I was when I got 3 all looking alike. They are quite active and if I could find more they would be in my breeding tank.
