this is going to be a 110 gal set up..

I have never had saltwater, this tank will have wet/dry sump, with a backpak protien skimmer.

I'll get the footprint of the tank..for FYI purposes.

can anyone point me in the right direction for information??

we will have 2 250 watt heaters and plan on live rock eventually setting this up as a reef tank.

thanks in advance.

I would have a Sump / Refugium instead of a wet dry filter and have your skimmer in the sump. I am setting up a 90 gallon and have been doing a lot of research and everyone says that this is the best way for a reef tank. Wet dry filter is ok for fish only but still the sump / refugium would be best.

Also make sure if your going to make this a reef setup that you have enough light. 5-7 watts per gallon is the best.
