water sprite doesn't fare too well in salt. during the 2 weeks of ich treatment in my tank, it's leaves melted and rotted.
Anachris can definitely be planted, it will grow roots. Just be aware that if planted, the bottoms of the stems (which are usually green) can rot due to lack of light, thereby adding to ammonia, nitrite, etc.
Most plants (although I'm not totally sure) can tolerate lower temps, as long as it's not freezing, of course

Higher temperatures are better for them because it helps speed up photosynthesis, IME. Like my tank rose to 82 degrees during a "heat wave" (I live by the ocean) and my plants starting releasing oxygen like crazy. I didn't see any "pearling", but there were strings of tiny bubbles coming off of them and rising to the surface.
