I'm picking up a 31gal tank today and along with the tank is a gold gourami. The main reason for me getting this tank is so that I can have Angelfish but I'm not sure if the two can co-exist together. I have a huge pink kissing gourami that lives in a tank with all my mollies and they get along fantastically. So I'm hoping the gold gourami will have just as good of a personality as my kisser but I'm worried. Could the gold gourami and the angels be put together if they have the right personalities or is it a big no no. People told me it would be dooms day if I stuck my kisser with my mollies but everything turned out more than wonderful and I'm wondering if that's possible for the gold gourami and angels. Thanks.

Should be fine. I'd be a little concerned about having two larger fish in a 31g, so I'd definitely have plenty of cover so that they don't have to always see each other.

I don't have any gold gouramis and I'm not an expert, but I do have two male dwarfs living with three angels in a 65 gal and have had no trouble with them.

I just added a gold gouami and he is being very peaceful and gentle with everyone in the tank. He is also active and eating and curious about his new surroundings. I can't see him having a problem with anyone.
Some gouramis can be nasty though, it all depends on the fish. I had a couple of dwarf gouramis that harassed everyone in the tank.
