Gold Gourami with ICH? - Very Early Stage...?

Thanks, reading this article now.

So there was only ONE white dot, but it looks to be gone now... so I'd assume it is Ich..

I'm also cycling my tank... it's been running now for a bout 1.5 weeks... is the medicine going to affect anything?

And also, turning the temperature up to 80, will that be alright for my Gouramis and Guppys to survive in? I've been keeping it around 75ish
yeah, dude, they could. trust me, roan, and the article.

And will it be best to use the medicine treatment or the salt treatment?

Thanks
well, I would try the salt treatment first, but, thats just me. both work well.

Actually there is still a minor white mark there where it was, but its not like it was before its rather faint...
hey, maybe it isn't ich! what do you think, roan?

I think we need to know if the fish is flashing or not. Is he smacking or scraping his body, especially the gill area, against anything? And if he is flashing, what are the ammonia readings in the tank?

If he's flashing, it's ich or ammonia burn. If he's not flashing, I wouldn't treat at this stage. The cycling process AND ich treatment could cause a lot of stress on the fish.

Doesn't seem to be flashing really.... How obvious is it when they are flashing? He may sometimes be doing it but I can't tell...

Ammonia was at 0.25 PPM last night, I did a 10 percent water change
