gold nugget pleco

Can i add a gold nugget with my fish i have now. i have 15 tertas and they are rosey, tiger barbs, blackskirt, then i also have 3 plecos. they are 2 brislenose and 1 Medusa. so can i get a gold nugget or clown pleco?

Provided the tank is large enough, there shouldn't be any problems with the Ancistrus. If you do get a gold nugget make sure it's been at the shop for some time and is eating well. Avoid any with a sunken belly, because they're going to die.

well the tank i'm going to be is a 240 gallon.

plecos like to hide a lot. so plecos need a lot od hiding spots in the tank?

they definitely need a lot of hiding spots.

That tank should be plenty big. I have the following in a 70, but I also have the tank setup with a ton of plants to filter out ammonia and nitrate:

L-66: King Tiger
(2) L-104: Clown
L-204: Panaque (Flash Pleco)
L-226: Iquitos Tiger Pleco
(2) Bristlenose
L-81: Gold Nugget

Lots of driftwood would be good.
