Temperature is usually what makes mine lay on the bottom. When it gets too warm, they lay on the gravel, stare at me and make their "too hot" faces.

haha, this is completely normal. Fish are like humans. When we're tired, we lay down.
If you keep the temperature in your tank lower, the fish'll be more active.

i noticed one of the goldfish almost blood like scales, then i did a 50% water change, cleaned the filter, and added a air stone and it went away?
