I bought some common feeder goldfish for my outdoor pond about 3 1/2 months ago. They were about an inch and half long when I bought them. Last week I was looking at some of the potted plants in the pond and noticed some fry. Is it possible that these goldfish could have already swawned? They are the only fish in the pond and there is also a snapping turtle in there that has made the pond it's home. I'm just wondering how such young fish could have already spawned. They are about 5 inches long now.

5" is easily big enough for goldfish to breed- mine (years and years ago) first spawned at less than 4". They won't produce as many eggs as when they get bigger, but they will spawn when they reach about 15-18 months old.
