Goldfish changing color

Hi guys

I have a goldfish which once had an olive green tinge on it's back - and it's dorsal fin too was of the same color.
It then suddendly started changing it's color - it's completely golden/yellow now.
Is this normal ? Though the goldfish is acting as normal as always.

It's not uncommon at all for goldies to change color, especially certain types. What kind do you have?
 
I guess the water should be fine - as his behavior too is :)
I dont know exactly the name of his type - but all i can tell you is - he's about 4 inches - and has 3 tails :dance
Plz tell me about their other types too.
 
Well, rather than tell you, I suggest using Google to search "goldfish varieties" and seeing what you come up with. I would still test the water, as Kasakato suggested rather than guess that it is okay.
