I was just wondering what other stuff like lettuce and such that i could feed to my goldfish.

dark green lettuce, spinach, diced zucchini, sections of orange

I would try all sort of leafy veggies and members of the squash family (zuchinni etc...). They may not figure it out right away so you may have to take food out occasionally until they figure it is food.

And I've read that you should feed goldfish frozen peas (not canned because they have too much sodium), to "clean them out". I feed peas to my goldfish, and he loves 'em. :girl:

My darlings love cucumber and zucchini, as well as collard greens. Whatever I feed to the apple snails they munch on too!

My goldfish LOVE cantaloupe. I also feed them spinach, cooked shelled frozen peas, squash(any), chopped frozen krill, seaweed,
I mostly feed: Omega One flake food, Wardley Goldfish Pellets(which I soak first so they don't bloat in the belly)

Decent post regarding goldfish diet - give them variety, they will thrive.

all I can say is feed them anything and everything (obviously avoiding processed foods). try to keep it 70% plant and 30% animal. with a diet like that your fish should grow to nice big healthy adults and live a good long time!
