good 40 gallan tank setup??

ok here's another thought how about

Ginzu
2 panda cories
2 spotted cories
1 butterfly fish
2 angels
1 rope fish
2 keyhole cichlids

????????

ropefish? isnt one long skinny fish per tank enough? the two will probably fight over territory constantly, and neither is strong enough to take abuse. the knife fish would get torn to shreds.

what are the actual dimensions of the tank? 36x18x20 is alot more than 40 gallons.

Rope fish get over a foot in length, so I would say no on those. I would also go with 4 of only one of those species of corys - they need/should be kept in groups.

i remeasured it and the lable was wrong its 36 by 18 by 16
