I've got to confess.
I am 22, and I have never had a beer. Not even a sip.
In fact, the only alcoholic drink I've ever had is a margarita.
So... everyone always raves about beer. Beer beer beer.
I smelled a Budweiser once. It smelled like canned death.
So, my question is, what beers should I try? What are good 'beginner' beers?
I don't know if it will help, but other drinks I like include iced tea, lemonade, Mountain Dew Amp and Pepsi.

Everyone tells me that Bud Light Lime is great for people trying to break in to it.
All my friends tell me.
Of course, I don't do it, I'm not of age.

I'm not a big fan of beers, but I enjoy Widmer Hefewiezen. Pour a glass, slice of lemon, and play some xbox.

Hefe's are awesome. Light and refreshing, probably a great starter beer.

go with Mickeys beer! and under the cap is a pictogram to figure out. i call it smart beer, lol!

Stick to Iced Tea, Lemonade, Pepsi etc and skip the Beer.
I can not stand the smell of a person who has been drinking Beer. Not to mention the more Beer you Consume, the more Obnoxious you become. But the smell is the worst.

FluffynTex is right!! Please-just don't drink-there's never a need to drink. The people who DO drink are either doing it to act cool or they have a drinking problem. You can't go back in time once you cross that line.

Something like corona or blue moon is a good starter, they're decent but pretty innocuous. If you're not into strong flavors, IPAs probably won't suit you, at least not right off. Something like sam summer ale or cherry wheat are decent as well. If you're into really sweet, you can always try a dopplebock, they're good but usually pretty expensive since they aren't all that common. Bocks are darker than the normal wheat beers and lagers but are still a bit sweeter, Amber Bock is a pretty cheap decent one. There are sooooo many recipes and soooo many different types of beer, you really have to try a bunch of stuff, see what you like and go from there.

My brother in law is the nastiest man I ever met in my life. He always smells like stale Beer, is always drunk and disgusting. Beer has ruined his life. Drinking is NOT cool.
