Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ7
6x Optical zoom(digital zoom is worthless, it's just croping and zooming in on the pic itself, reduces quality greatly!)
7.2 Mega Pixels, so you can get pretty nice sized prints
It also runs on AA batteries, much better than any other kind. My new cam has a rechargeable battery, I have to charge it everyday, it's ridiculous.
Great Macro for close-ups and it works really well in all light, some cams you have to change the settings to get 'real/true' color, but with this one, I rarely had to worry.
All my pics, other than most of the fish pics, are from this cam.

I would sell this cam, since I got a new one for my BDay, but the new one doesn't have Macro, so I can't part with it.
I highly recommend this cam, and you can find it for less than $100 now!
As for fast moving things, use it's 'Sports' setting, it's amazing, It catches my doberman running full speed with no problems and great color.
If you are going to spend more than $200, do a TON of research before you buy. My new cam has dreadful image quality, tends to be very fuzzy and grainy, and the cam cost $500. It's a Nikon Coolpix P90
After I messed with the settings for an hour, I was able to improve the image grain, but my old cam is far more superior in many ways, close-ups and in action shots for sure!
