I'm so sorry for your loss. Barb was a kind and generous person and I have many of her snails. I wish I lived closer, I'd love to have more of them. I'm hoping I can breed the ones I do have. They have a guardian angel now.

Thanks to the many of you that have posted kind words about Barb. Ya, it's a huge loss to a lot of us. I am going to try to keep the snails that I brought back alive. In the event I can't I will try to find someone that has some of Barb's snails that would be willing to sell some to me, and to help me with keeping them alive. I currently have 2 clutches that I am hoping will hatch. Thanks again.

I have no doubt that someone here who has experience in breeding snails will give you all the help you need along the way. Don't hesitate to post any and all questions...
It's always interesting how sisters are a pain when young, yet become great friends when older. I hope that you and Barb shared great times together. I'm sure she knew that she was part of a loving family that cared for her greatly. What more could someone want from life.
While I did not know her, or even message on this board with her, I found her comments and love of her hobby to be an inspiration to me...to seek what brings joy in one's life.
Don't take this wrong, but if you are not able to keep up with her hobby, do not despair. None of us can take on the legacy of all those we love and pass before us. It is the memory we hope will go on.
I've not lost a sister, so can only pretent to understand. My prayers are with you and your family.
