good canadian online sites?

I am trying to find a Eheim 2217 to price match at Big Als, I refuse to get ripped off for $200 when the american sites sell it for $135, petsmart and bigals (USA) is an example.

Why won't they price match the petsmart website when they ship to Canada as well?

Oh well, can someone help me out? They will only price match Canadian websites.
 
If your in Toronto the peeps at Pricenetwork.(message board like Craiglist.)I see Eheims with the heater built in come up now and then at good prices.

Overall MOPS has better prices than Big a but I don`t think they carry Eheim.
 
You'd probably have to pay a duty on that as well but I don't know how much that would cost. I don't think there are very many online places in Canada besides Big Al's and MOPS.
 
that sucks, but all i really need is a not well known, unreliable site that is Canadian and has the eheim for 135, I just need to print out that price... Even a real small company will work as long as it's Canadian...

Man I am ticked off, I'm going to have to buy the damned thing for $65 more.
 
What do you think is the estimated cost of shippin from Petsmart.com ($135) to toronto?

certainly less than $200. I'm guessing $20 for shippin?
 
Shipping, tax, border fees, currency exchange; Those could very easily all add up to or more than the $65 it would take to reach $200.

Canadian vendors don't buy in the same volume US vendors do, therefore they pay more money when they buy. Nobody's "screwing" you.
