Another ossball hunter. good. alright hes off the list. I put them on there because They are the fish the brought me into all this. One glance and I was hooked. I tried geting one for my 55 when I first got it cycled but my blue crayfish killed it. One oddball and you spend all your detasiling money getting a tank. After he went. his tank mates odd personalities kept me even more interisted. A rapidly growing blue crayfish that outstreached its claws because it thought my hand was a claw and wanted to be dominint(and had a strond grip and sharp claws), a 9" electric catfish that would only accept food out of my fingers and sat in the palm of my hand on command and swam through rings made with my fingers for food, an african butterfly that swam around the tank and was always willing to strech its mouth on an insect. a 5" yoyo loach, and a 7" syno. cat all at the same time!Mudfrog said:Don't do the dragonfish, they need much more water then you will be able to provide if you get a mudskipper. Also they get over 20" long.
Do major research on the mudskipper, everything I have seen says they are only for the experienced aquarist. Supposedly they are hard to keep alive, this is why I opted to skip them.
In ideal tank would be around 40% water and 60% land, maybe even 30% water and 70% land. Something like 80% of it's time will be on land.
every time I se the dragons Im tempted to enjoy the fish that made me become an aquarist
