Good Filter

I'm looking into purchasing a new filter for my 30gal tank which, as suggested should be upgraded from the Whisper 30, that I have in there now.

I was wondering how good this filter is:

HAGEN ELITE HUSH POWER FILTER 55 GAL AQUARIUM AQUACLEAR

I'm not at all familiar with that filter. I'm not sure what it is, looks like the seller just threw a bunch of search terms in the title. I'd be wary of someone with that feedback percentage as well. Check out www.bigalsonline.com.

I would suggest at least a Penguin 200 if he is going that route.

Well, I'm probably going to due a total filter replacement instead of simply using a second one... with out some custom modifications, my hood really only has enough room for one filter... Although now that I have the idea, i could get a different hood or mod the current one, and put a second filter in...

I always suggest two filters. If you have the funds, go with AquaClears or a canister filter.

I'll def see what I can do about getting a 2nd filter... but for now i think I'll just get one larger one... i think an aquaclear rated for a 50gal would be sufficient..?

I use two AC50s on my 28G. I'm sure one will do you until you can get another one.
