Can anyone recommend a good fish store in the south Denver, Colorado suburbs? Aside from Petsmart and Petco. We're looking for aquarium equipment, stands, tanks, etc. and somewhere with a decent selection of quality fish.

Thanks,
Bill

Mr. Aqua on Federal. It's located in an oriental stripmall area. They dont have a wide variety of fish like petco or petsmart BUT they specialize in fancy goldfish, arrowanas, and ramshead. And the fish they have are TOP QUALITY. They got tanks and a lot of cheapy "made in china" tank equipment.

well fishden isnt so bad on 44th two blocks east of sheridan, then there is sherman tanks one in south denver (dont know where) and one on 64th and wadsworth in a strip mall

Hands down, the place to go is Neptune's.

They are right behind Mervyns, which is going out of business. I think it's the very first shopping center after you cross University. They're on the left hand side if you're heading towards the mountains.

They have close to 100 tanks set up, with all kinds of fish. Salt water and fresh water set ups, and all kinds of corals too. If you want someone to offer you advice, without trying to sell something to you, this is the place to go.

I second the Neptune's vote... it's a great store. They have healthy fish, nice plants, can order special things for you, and very knowledgeable staff!!
