Good for Petsmart

Good stuff!

I have yet to see any artificially colored or treated fish at my local Petsmart. They do keep a good healthy assortment of fish, I just wish they'd get more employees who know their stuff.
 
I am emailing them about this right now THANKING THEM FOR BEING NICE TO PETS AND NOT MANHANDLING THEM.

my petco still carries dyed BS tetras, so does my other LFS, thankfully the good 'ol reef refuses to.

Painted versions of the Gold Skirt are available, but Petsmart does not carry these fish due to the methods of injecting the dye into the fish.

Don't celebrate yet. If you read the statement carefully, you would notice that PetSmart decided not to carry these Long Fin Black Skirt due to fact they are dyed by injecting dye into the fish.
These ornamental fish are dyed using various methods such dipping them in dye or feeding them dyes food or altering their DNA. PetSmart simply decided not to carry these tetras since they are dyed by injecting. It doesn’t state that they stop carrying all dyed fish.
