That is a great idea for QT tanks and bare bottom set ups for goldies and discus, etc. Nice find!

Looks like great idea to me. The only thing that pops to mind is someone mentioning bottom dweller infection from glass bottom bacteria. But I haven't researched it just something I heard on some post. For a moment there I thought it was going to be a textured layer on the inside bottom made of resin filled sand.

I am not a huge fan off simulations of things that are not in the tank (poster backgrounds, mirror backgrounds, etc.), but that actually looks pretty darn good. I might try that eventually.
