Good plant for Betta tank?

I have an anacharis forest in my betta's tank and he loves it. You'll have to make sure it's legal in your state if you decide to go with it since it's considered a weed. I grows out of control as well but it fills the tank nicely and my betta lays in it all the time.

Well I'll say that java moss doesn't seem to do anything for my algae. I still have to scrub the front and sides of the tank weekly or so to keep it clear of algae. I'm tempted to add an oto to the tank, but haven't done that yet. The betta killed the snail friends that I gave him, as well as the ghost shrimp I tried, so I'm not sure if I want to test an oto in with him since he's not been real receptive to company thus far...

Betta bulbs is actually where my tiger lotus came from. There were two other things in there, but neither of them survived. One grew very tall very fast and then died just as fast. The other never did anything. I've found those bulbs to be somewhat hit and miss.

Well, it is a taller tank and will need something pretty tall that he can relax on. I actually decided to go with some bamboo (I know it is not aquatic, but I let the top of it and the leaves stick out of the water). I'll prob go with anubias too.

I have this little LED light over it and I don't know how that will work.
