Good Protein Skimmer for 225g

What would be a really good Protein Skimmer for a 225 Gallon. Is for instance a $500 Euro Reef Skimmer that much better than for instance a $200 Berlin Turbo XL Skimmer?

What brands are the best and worst?

I also here that Rio pumps are terrible, True?

from what ive heard from just about everybody is that Deltec skimmers are without a doubt by far the best... if you have the $$$ for one. the berlin turbo xl is decent but the euro reef is def much better. it all depends on if you're willing to spend the extra dough. ive never had experience with rio pumps but ive heard both excellent and horrible reviews on them so i cant help u there. however, the good seem to outweigh the bad.

Hi,

We have the ASM 4 skimmer & love it!!...We have also had Euro Reef...Same guy makes the ASM just a thought. Here's a pic' I call it the beast lol... My husband made the stand and canopy ours is a 210.
