Good school fish for 29G

I have 12 zebra danios and 2 dwarf gouramis...what it is another good schooling fish for hard water and a neutral pH?

You can aclimate pretty much any type of schooling fish into your water status.. just stay away from cardinals and maybe neon tetras.. they're really sensitive.

you can go with a school of 6 cory cat fishes for some action in the bottom section of the tank. they are very interesting fish and always active. you wont be bored or regret buying them.

corydoras are good for the bottom of the tank, and then you might want to consider a school of 12 red eye or 14 lemon tetras for the middle of the tank

I have 14 neons. They just need a larger fish to scare them into schooling.

i am thinking about putting a bolivian ram in the tank as well...with 12 zebra danios..and two dwarf gouramis..would a school of 8 red eye tetras and two bolivian rams be over stocked?

Hi,

IMO if you added the Rams and the Red-Eye Tetras you would be a little over stocked. If you only get one Ram, not two, I think that would work.

instead of red eye tetras..would rummynose tetras work well with those tank mates i said above, minus the one bolivian ram, and hardy water, neutral pH and a temp at a steady 77
