i was wondering what a good list would be for an aggresive tank set-up, the tank is 100gal, if that matters,, i want something that makes it look very diverse as in apperance in fish, and also inverts/cleaners that will keep the tank clean, and also be able to be with aggresive fish, so far i like the huma huma triggerfish, and a lionfish, i was wondering if there is like two more good aggressive fish to have in the tank.

thanks

Keeping triggers and inverts together is like placing Kirstie Alley in front of a seafood buffet. :thud:

haha, yeah i knew that, but i was reading somewhere that there are a few inverts that could withstand triggers (i think a longspine(?) urchin was one of them..

Sorry, couldn't resist that one. Many agro options my friend; "are you ready to rrruuuummmbbble???"...
but some will outgrow your system (24 inches) and need to be moved in a year or two, including:
1. Groupers; Miniatus, Panther, etc.
2. Wrasses; Lunare, Harlequin, Longnose Bird, Coris, Dragon, etc.
3. Morays; Snowflake, Zebra
4. Big (4inch) clowns like Frenatus and Maroons will hold their own here...
5. Surgeons like the Yellow Tang, Hippo, and Powder Blue will too, but these tend to be more demanding of water quality than those above.
Not suggesting all here, choose carefully; even the adult lion alone can put plenty of demands on your 100 gal filter and space. Better to undercrowd and boost your long term success.

hmm, i didnt know a yellow tang could, well, hang with aggressive fish, lol, i always thought it would get its *** kicked by aggressive fish, lol

Well, after all, they do call them "surgeon fish."
Most tangs can/will use the sharp scalpels on the sides of their tails like blades; I've seen many a tang tail-slap another fish into submission... in fact one of the big problems we used to have with shipping larger specimens is they cut the plastic bags to ribbons. Heck, I've seen Sohal tangs that would kick the **** out of everything on the above list just for fun.
