So the plants in the goldfish tank are doing fine and the goldies are not eating the plants which is a major plus. I want to add some plants in the back that get tall that would hide the canister filiter tubing. I was thinking about sag but I am sure there are other plants that grow tall like sag that I could use. If you have any suggestions please post them.

The tank is a 46 bowfront with 80ish watts (not at home right now to cheak) btw.

I would say Hygrophila Corymbosa (Giant Hygro). It grows extremely fast under good conditions and makes a beautiful background plant.

I like Cryptocoryne balansae and Crypocoryne crispatula as background plants and add nice contrast to broad leaf plants in front of it.

I second giant val (jungle val). I think the goldfish are less likely to decide to eat them than many other plants.

Okay, I'm the fuddy duddy who's going to bring up the Amazon sword. I love the way it looks in the background right in the center of the tank. It's a nice focal point.
